Gerard Learns His Lesson

In a big, bustling factory, Jen and Gerard worked hard every day. Jen's office was right below Gerard's. Every morning, Gerard would run up and down the stairs, his laughter echoing. Jen, trying to concentrate, would often get frustrated.

One day, Jen had enough. She marched up to Gerard's office. 'Please, Gerard, can you stop running on the stairs? It's very distracting,' she pleaded. Gerard just chuckled, not taking her seriously.

Despite Jen's plea, Gerard didn't stop. The next day, he ran even louder. Jen could barely hear herself think. She knew she had to do something about it.

Jen came up with a plan to teach Gerard a lesson. She spent the evening preparing her prank. She was determined to make Gerard understand how his actions were affecting her work.

The next morning, Jen was ready. As Gerard started his daily run, he encountered Jen's prank: a harmless but surprising obstacle. He stumbled, surprised, and then burst out laughing, realizing what had happened.

Gerard went down to Jen's office, still chuckling. 'I guess I deserved that,' he admitted. They talked, and Gerard finally understood how his actions were affecting Jen. He promised to be more considerate.

From that day on, Gerard was much quieter on the stairs. He and Jen started having lunch together, sharing stories and laughs. Their friendship grew stronger with each passing day.

Jen and Gerard found new ways to have fun without disturbing each other's work. They organized after-work activities for the whole factory. Everyone was happier, and the factory became a more enjoyable place to work.
